Early Life and Education

Born in 1985, Lyubomyr developed an early passion for technology, spending much of his youth experimenting with computers. This interest eventually led him to earn a Master of Science degree in Computer Studies from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.[2] To build his business expertise, he later completed a Business Development course at Lviv IT School and the Entrepreneurship Essentials program at Harvard Business School Online.

Early Career

After completing his studies, Reverchuk gained experience across both technical and marketing fields. He worked as a freelance web developer and digital marketer, as noted in his interview,[3] and subsequently held a position as an IT specialist at Kredobank. These roles provided him with a strong understanding of software development, client needs, and internal business processes, which later supported his transition into entrepreneurship.

Founding of Echo

In May 2013, at 28 years old, Lou founded EchoUA, later rebranded as EchoGlobal, in his hometown of Lviv, Ukraine. The company began as a standard software development firm and gradually evolved into a boutique IT staffing agency focused on building and managing dedicated software engineering teams for clients. Reverchuk’s goal was to source top-tier developers from Eastern Europe and match them with established startups and product companies in the US and the UK. EchoGlobal not only recruits senior tech talent but also delivers full operational support for remote teams, including HR, payroll, and legal compliance, ensuring smooth integration with client organizations. By prioritizing quality over quantity, the company distinguished itself in a crowded outsourcing market and cultivated long-term partnerships with clients.

Growth and Achievements

Over the following decade, Lyubomyr guided EchoGlobal through steady expansion, extending its client base across Europe and North America and collaborating with startups, large enterprises, and even a Fortune 500 company. Despite major challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine, the company continued to grow, achieving a 36% increase in staff and a 51% rise in revenue in 2022.[4] Under his leadership, EchoGlobal built a strong reputation for reliability, received industry recognition, and earned ISO 27001 certification,[5] reinforcing Lou’s status as a respected figure in tech outsourcing and recruitment.

Industry Contributions and Affiliations

Alongside leading his company, Lou Reverchuk is active in the broader business and tech community. He is a member of the Young Business Club (YBC), a network for entrepreneurs, and serves as a mentor in the GrowthMentor community, where he supports other startups and professionals. Reverchuk frequently shares his views on technology, recruitment, and leadership in industry platforms and publications. He has been featured or quoted in outlets such as HubSpot,[6] Fast Company,[7] StartupNation,[8] Breezy,[9] and Recruitee,[10] where he discusses subjects ranging from HR and hiring to innovation in tech teams. In December 2024, he was also recognized as a LinkedIn Top Voice. Through these activities, Reverchuk has built a reputation as a thought leader connecting global tech talent with business needs, often sharing lessons[11] drawn from his own experience as a CEO.
